well all i can do is pray........i might have to start over with a new surgeon but its always nice to have someone to chat with......do you have a good support group where you live.........everyone in mine is just the best.........i don't know what i would do without them........

My wife and kids realize I need this surgery, and the gals at the office sort of do, and so I get support. But if I go past these people, I get a lot of flack, especially since I'm not what some people would feel is big enough to require surgery..............my BMI is 38. But they don't realize that my diabetes and hypertension and proteinurea and vascular problems associated with Syndrome X is moving me to an early death. The best thing is that my family doctor -- endocrinologist thinks that I am doing the right thing ("a drastic solution for a drastic problem" she says".
