Congrats on joining the "Century Club"! How are you doing? Please remember the importance of keeping your profile updated. It is the only way that others can see different stories of wls. Whether it be good, bad or ugly, each persons journey is important to others. Please update your profile so that others can follow along on this amazing journey. You never know who you might inspire.

4/29/00 Saw Sandra in the hospital and she seemed to be doing very well! I told her that she had nice pink cheeks and then she informed me of having a fever of 101°! I pray that it is nothing serious...she said she had a sore throat. so maybe it is from that. She has a high pain tolerance and seemed not to be in any pain while I was there. She sat up in a chair the entire time I was there and talked and smiled and was just beautiful! Sandra is one of the sweetest people I have ever known, and I am SO glad that this surgery is finally over for her. She almost backed out of having it, because she was so scared. But she went through with it and now is on her way to being a happy healthy lady! I did find out that she does NOT like sugar free orange popsicles! LOL! She noticed that flavors are so intensified since surgery, and I agreed that I am experiencing the same thing. She has to travel 4 to 5 hours to get home after she leaves the hospital, so everyone pray for a safe and comfortable journey for her. I printed out her "Best Wishes" card from ObesityHelp.com and she liked that. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers for Sandra!

Sandra's surgery went fine! Dr. Kaczmarski found a hernia which he repaired. Other than that, no complications. Sandra said that she didn't have a lot of pain, which is wonderful. She is very tired and sleepy which is normal, and they removed her IV, so that means she is taking in a sufficient amount of fluids. I am going to see her today, so I will be able to post more afterwards. A huge (((THANK YOU))) to all who prayed for Sandra and posted good wishes for her!

Sandra, i just wanted to wish you all the best in you wls, and that you have a speedy revovery and a easy one at that. It was nice talking to you in the chat room. You and i will share the same wls anniversary date. See you on the other side.

Hi Sandra, I just read your profile, and I wish you the very best of luck. I have been so much healthier and happier since I had my surgery, you will be too. I shall keep you in my prayers. I pray that the Lord will guide your surgeons hands, and that you will have an easy surgery and a quick and painless recovery. I think you were having RNY, so just remember to sip and walk, sip and walk. May God Bless you , Carin

Congratulations, Sandra!!!I am praying for you and will keep everyone posted on your progress. You will be so happy that you are doing this for yourself! Dr. Kaczmarski is a wonderful surgeon who really knows his stuff! Good luck, my dear sweet friend! I am always here for you.

Just a note to say welcome to the loosing side of the fence!! Its wonderful. I have lost 36 pounds in 5 weeks! I just have a few words of advice. Stay posative, don't demand to much of yourself at first, and do as your Doctor tells you and not good-hearted friends who truely mean well. If I can do anything or even just listen about the aches and pains feel free to write. God bless and happy recovery!! Sincerely, Margie
