I wouild like to thank you for your words of encouragement. I am taking things one day at a time still reeling but it is getting easier to cope. I need to be able to have a straight head for the days ahead of me with a cheeter.

Hi, Michelle. I'm just 10 days behind you (post-surgery). Jan. 20, and I've lost 40# so far. I wish it was your 50! I was feling like I was going kinda slow, but everyone says each person is different. I'm having some problems with feeling like I've got a blockage in my throat. Has that ever happened to you? It's really an uncofortable feeling, and it makes me feel nauseous 90% of the time. sorry to take up your time; your message just sounded like some of my thoughts. Thanks. Robin McComas

Michelle, you should be proud of yourself. Don't let other people who had the surgery change how you feel. Everyone is different and everyone's surgery is different. Your weight loss could factor because of how much you weigh, who did the surgery, what foods you can eat, and others. Just follow your doctor and your heart. It is a big change and you will do great. I live in an area where so many people have had it around me and went different places. Each one of them tell me something different and how much I should loose. I ask my doctor and he says that I am doing fine. I am 13 weeks out and down 80 pounds but I weighed 160 pounds more so it comes off faster. Keep a chin up and keep loosing. Your beautiful now and you'll be a knock-out later.
