Hi Mary, I was reading your post and it seems that you and I are having a very simular experience. I had my Lap rny on July 30 I am 6 weeks and 5 days post op and I have only lost 33 pounds. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the loss of those 33 pounds. I could have easily gained 15-20 pounds in 6 weeks. I just thought that with a pre-op weight of 344 I would have lost more by now. I am trusting in my Higher Power he knows what I need better than I do. Lets face it, my thinking got me to 344 pounds so what do I know. Obviouly this slow weight loss is what I need. I am just gratefull to be on this journey. I will add you to my prayer list. Best wishes on your journey.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author) FROM MY HEART TO YOU~*~Hugs~*~

Mary, congratulations to you on making it to the other side. Congratualations to you on your weight loss. You may not think that it is a lot but any loss is appreciated. You may just be a slow loser and that is okay too. Just don't give up hope or get discouraged about your loss. Before you realize it you will be where you want to be as long as you work your tool and follow the guidelines. Also, welcome to the site we are all family here. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey.
