I HAD THE DS SURGERY IN NOVEMBER OF 2002 AND I HAVE LOST 125 LBS. WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE WEIGHT COMES OFF FASTER WITH THIS SURGERY THAN ANY OTHER. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SURGERY AND GOD BLESS YOU.
