Kendra... that is so great! I am so glad that things have been going so well for you! I go to my final consult with the surgeon on Friday... to get my date... I am hoping it will be by the end of this year but if not... I'll live. I am so happy to hear how things are going for you! Congratulations... keep it up!!

Kendra, First of all, are you sure it's "head hunger" and not just hunger? I was always starving the first few weeks and it wasn't in my head. My stomach wanted something. This does get better with soft foods. If it is head hunger - like watching all those TV commercials - you're right - it's awful. I even cried when I saw an ice cream commercial. That also does get better believe it or not. Hang in there. If this old broad can do it -- you can too! (PS..And probably you feel like time is probably passing reallllllly slowly too).

Kendra, I was just signing on to see if you had posted to your surgery page and there you were!!! I'm been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. I'm sorry it turned into an open surgery, but am very happy things went well. Take care of yourself and God bless!
