Sheila is continuing to do great. She's walking the length of the hall and back today. She also got "real" food tonight - juice, jello, and broth.

Sheila, it is so good to hear that you are doing better. I will be keeping you in my prayers for continued healing, a speedy recovery and that your pain diminishes soon. You just keep taking those little sips as they will soon grow to much bigger sips and keep up with the walking. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey.

Sheila was looking great tonight. She's in a regular room now. She sat up for 3 hours today and walked a little a couple of times. She said that she had one bad spell with pain this afternoon but other than that the pain has been manageable. Apparently in addition to the RYN and apendectomy, she also had a hernia repair. Her room # is Francis 124 at St. Mary's hospital. Today they had her drinking a medicine cup (like the ones that come on cough syrup) full of water once an hour. Maybe tomorrow she'll get some liquid with color. :))
