I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**Hugs**

Heather, please don't beat yourself up about the potato skin. As you have said the surgery doesn't effect the brain only the stomach. I still believe that you did good with all that was going on around you. Would you have been able to do this prior to the surgery? Remember it was one slip and you know what you have to do to get yourself back on track and keep yourself there. The harder you are on yourself the harder you will make this battle. Be kind to yourself and remember why you had the surgery in the first place. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey to a better life.

Heather I am with you on the food addict thing! Do not beat yourself up about the potato skin. Just think pre-op you probabally would have eaten several skins and then washed them down with one of those sinnful deserts you talked about! Another difference between food addicts and drug/alchol addicts is we need to eat to live we cannot survive on cold turkey (unless we're talking food ha ha...)Each time we eat is a temptation to eat too much or the wrong things. Another thing is that Food is every where and EVERYONE is doing it. It is promoted on TV at every commercial, on billboards in your face constantly - You do not have to go to a place that serves food to be tempted. I think you did not do too bad with your temptation and will soon be back on track. -Diane Koch
