Melissa its gets better each day! I promise. Im 11 weeks post-op and Im feeling so much better. Just hang tuff and if you want to talk feel free to E-mail me.

Hang in there, we are all here for you.This is a great time for you because you have taken your life back but it is also a time of huge change, so feeling overwhelmed and down is natural.It will pass just hang in there and keep losing! Take care~

Illinois angel here. I spoke with Melissa today at the hotel. She is feeling very good. She saw her Dr. today and he gave her the go ahead to go home tomorrow. She is eating soft foods and has been doing a lot of walking. Melissa will be staying with her parents til the weekend, then she will be in her own home. Thank you to everyone who supported Melissa.

Arkansas Angel Amy here with a Melissa Doerr update. She was supposed to go home 7/4 but had a temperature of 100.5 so they decided to keep her another day. I went to pick her up today 7/5 and they took her temp before she was supposed to be discharged and it was 101. So now they are doing x-rays, a urine analysis etc. to see whats up. Other than that she is doing well. She is getting in and out of bed easily and walking alot. We went for a stroll and looked around the hospital gift shop. I will call her later and see what the tests revealed and post an update. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Melissa is no longer dealing with the nauseua she had. They switched the painkiller she was on and she seems to be reacting to this much better. She is walking alot and is getting around quite well. She was given juice and jello today also. I think she will be able to leave the hospital tomorrow. YEAH! Thanks for keeping Melissa in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi everyone, Arkansas angel here with another Melissa Doerr update. Just returned from the hospital and she is still doing fine except for the nauseua. She thinks it is from the Demorol so she asked them to take her off it. They are going to switch to another painkiller. She is doing her walking and flexes her feet alot when she is in bed to help prevent blood clots. She is a little perkier than yesterday but still seems pretty tired. Please keep sending your good wishes her way.

You Go Melissa!! Glad to hear that you are on the "losing" side now. I am praying for a quick and painless recovery. Remember if things ever feel like they are too much or too "big" for you, just let He who is bigger than all things take over for you. He is better at it anyway :) ! Afternoon all. Illinios angel again. I just spoke with Melissa, she is doing great, a little nauseous, but, no regrets: ). she has been up to walk four times so far, and has had a welcomed meal of ice chips. Haha, remember how much we looked forward to that. Tomorrow her Dr. will start her on liquids, and if that goes well, the next day will be soft foods. She is expecting to be released Friday, and she will go back to the hotel and leave for home on the 8th. Please continue to send Melissa support, I want her to be overwhelmed by the number of posts when she finally gets home and gets to see her page. Also please if your so inclined keep Melissa in your prayers. Thank you God for bring Melissa through this safely.
