Hey Winona! How are you feeling? I had my surgery the same day! you also sent me a message as we both live in Minneapolis! I'm feeling ok I guess. The hardest thing is getting in all the liquids you are supposed to! Hope you are doing well!

Hi Winona.. My name is Robin, I am from Iowa. I was looking at all of the surgery dates, and seen that you are kinda close to me. I am only 3 hours from the cities. I am a single 26 yr old female. So, we have youth and marital status in common. hehe. I hope your surgery went well, and that you are healing good. I am still pre-op. I am having my open RNY done on June 12. Just wanted to let you know how excited I am for you. Just remember that the first week is the toughest. Once you get through that first week you will do just great. Enjoy the weight loss journey, it is the most exciting one you will have. I am 13 months post-op and have lost 110 lbs and have reached my weight goal. Take care and God Bless!!

Winona- You are so close! Can you believe how much your life is going to be changing in the upcoming months. Isn't it exciting! I'm also having surgery, but I'm not scheducled until the first week of May. I wish you every sucess, and an uneventful surgery/recovery! God bless you! Emily
