Hey Y'all, I just got an email from Shanna. She is home from the hospital and doing well. She cannot use her computer right now, but is able to send email thru her blackberry. She wanted to let everyone know that she is thinking about them and says "HI". I am sure Shanna will be our "star" Lap-Band paitent!!!

Happy Happy Day for you Shanna, I hope all goes easy and well for you tomorrow. Mine was great! These doctors are the best I have ever talked too. I had my 6 month on 5/28/06 and I have lost 98 pounds. The only problem I have had is the absorbtion of my anti-depressants. We are working on that now and by the time I get down to the correct weight for my body structure I plan to have my neurotransmitters working right in my brain as well. I have a genetic chemical imbalance in my brain. When I get the meds working right I am as normal as the next person. Since I was diagonoised, I have finished Mississippi College University with a 3.0 gpa. It just takes time to get the right med formula.
