Shirley, I am praying that you have a successful surgery with a speedy recovery. God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. WLS has given us hope at a time when we didn't know what else to do. I commend you for your courage. God is the same all the time, so know you will be just fine. I just got my date today for my 1st consultation at St V's with Dr Huse. I am so excited. Soon I will be where you are today... Hugs :)

Hi Shirley,Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing u can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Shirley - I'll be leaving St Vincents about the same time you are coming in (hopefully). My surgery is March 5. Seems like forever till it gets here, doesn't it? Good luck on your surgery. I'll try to look you up if I'm still there. Kathy
