I will be having a conversion from a proximal to a distal in February.

Check my profile as the to "whys" and some history. Anyway, I will still have a bowel dilation but now will have MUCH more bypassed. I need advise on how this will make eating different from that of someone proximal. Also, will I have to re-start over with liquids etc? My surgeon generally does not do the distal except upon revision so he has not yet been able to offer much dietary advise. Any responses of someone who wants to correspond privately would be great!
