I say either burn your own with a bunch of fun songs, or I love Shania Twain (sp) or some of that upbeat dance music...remix versions of songs etc.

This question is so up my alley. I'm a musicholic. I could point you into so many directions, but it really depends on personal preference. Old and new redneck-no offense- Lynyrd Skynyrd- Sweet Home Alabama, Free Bird, What's Your Name, Gimme Three Steps. Anything by Bob Seger Dixie Chicks the list goes on and on... Baby boomer: The greatest hits of the monkees (no really) its great! Anything Beetles Elton John The Big Chill soundtrack-hello a must in a collection Elvis Bee-Gee's Punk: Dance Hall Crashers The Cranberries (although not punk, they have no title) NOFX Bad religion Me first and the gimme gimme's Blood hound gang beastie boys Weezer Old rock and roll: Aerosmith Metallica Offspring Scorpions The artist formerley known as Prince and.... anything from the 80's My favorite to work out to are female singers like Bonnie Lets give 'em something to talk about... Aretha Franklin RESPECT, anything with a good beat and that effects my soul and gets me goin. Disco has a great effect too. Just think I will Survive. Great female power song. I could talk all day about this subject. Thanks for asking it, a great question. Hope this helps. Compilation CD'S are always good cause you get a different artist each time.

Hi there :) I'm not sure what kind of music you like/don't like....but I listen to Club DJ mixes. You can find them at any music store, but the better ones are at the smaller, privately owned stores for some reason. Try NYC underground dance party volumes 1-4, Sound Factory and Webster Hall cd's (dance clubs in NYC), DJ's Jonathan Peters, Louie DeVito, Hex Hector, or Junior Vasquez. Basically, any house, techno or trance CD. (Trance is a little over the top and fast, but house is good). Anyway...it puts me in the mood to go out dancing and gives me energy, maybe you'll like it :) GOod luck.

Heather, awesome answer! What about the footloose and flash dance sound tracks? Personally, AC-DC and Alice Cooper get me going.

I don't listen to music but I do listen to audio books. I get engrossed in the story and it makes the time just whiz by. I borrow them from my local library. Good luck!
