Question:
Anybody have WLS right in Wausau, WI and any recommendations?
Making a decision on even having WLS is difficult enough, but then have to make decision on where to go. Any recommendations for the Wausau, WI area? — Mary M. (posted on August 26, 2002)

Mary, I have not had surgery yet... (fingers crossed) but i do have
a consult with Dr. Johnson on the 5th of Sept. I can let you know
what i think after that if you would like.

I have not had surgery YET (fingers crossed) but had a consult with Dr.
Johnson and dietcians. Just trying to get insurance to pay for it now -
WPS. Please anyone email me if you are also having this done in Wausau!

Consider driving down to La Crosse, WI, to Gundersen Lutheran Medical
Center. Dr. Kothari does the Lap RNY and he is wonderful, and has a very
supportive staff.

I am having WLS with Dr Johnson on October 1st. I have talked to a lady who
had her surgery in May with him. She is doing fine now ;o) Dr Johnson is
very nice. Also, Dr Brebrick (sp?) does WLS in Wausau too.
