Question:
Could somebody out there please help me!

I am 28 yrs old and from SOUTH AFRICA. I desperately need to have WLS, I am weighing in at 390 pounds with a BMI of 62. Our medical aid here in Cape Town do not pay for this type of surgery. The cost of the surgery here in South Africa converted into dollars only amounts to: $6 000. Can you believe it! Unfortunately I do not have that kind of money. The surgeons's fee alone is easily that much here, too. I don't know enough about insurance to help with that end of it.
