Do any one have information about Dr. Roe in Maryland

I have a date to go th Dr. Roe's power point on June 28. I would like as much information about him as I can get. How long did you have to wait for a date after you where approved by your insurance company?    — Natasha B. (posted on June 18, 2003)

At this time Dr.Roe is not peforming bariatric surgery. He will accept new patients and charge them 500.00 and promise that he will have operateing priveledges within 2 weeks. I went too him in April of 2004 and it is now september and he still doesnt have rights yet. I had to change doctors for the surgery. Please wait untill he is actually performimg the surgeries before you give him the 500 dollars. Allso, he does prefer to make a 3 inch incision and other doctors can do it completely laproscopically. I hope this helps some people avoid the frustration of "waiting" for that surgery day that never seems to come.
