Question:
Did any of the larger breasted women experiencs a huge size decrease?

I am a 38 F, I am 5'2 250lbs, surgery is in 47 days! One HUGE reason for having surgery is that I hope my breasts will shrink after weight loss. I have intense neck pain and shoulder problems. I have this terrible suspicion that they won't shrink much. Any one out there who can offer hope?    — E. V. (posted on June 26, 2003)

I was a 48DDD before surgery and after 36DD. They deflated and headed south! I had a lift and implants to make them perfect, so don't despair, help is out there if needed. Good Luck!

I started out a 44DD and had a lot of back pain from breast size. Now I am a 34c and the back pain is gone. luckily they pretty much went back to where they belong too.

I started out as a 48DD. That was 6 months ago. I weighed 326. Now as a 6 month post op I weigh 219. I am down to a size 40D. I make sure to buy a good support bra. I think a good support makes you look smaller all over. Funny my breast was larger than my stomach before surgery, then for awhile my stomach was larger than my breast and now it's back to my breast being larger than my stomach. I am not sure what the next 6 months will bring. I used to hate wearing a bra, they were so uncomfortable. Now it doesn't bother me at all. I actually preferr the ones with wires in them.

I went from a rather large 40 H to a "petite" 34 DD. I know that's still definitely above average, but I feel like they are just fine for my frame. Plus, they are much mushier now and a lot of the bulk is just loose skin. I am happy not to have watermelons anymore though!

I was HUGE prior to surgery! 58H! Yeah, most people don't realize they make bras that big!! 60 O is the biggest I've seen. Now, my butt won't fill one of my old cups, much less my boobs!! I am a wonderful 36C, now! Trust me, your boobs are gone, honey! LOL!! They ARE 90% fat, after all! :~)

I started out with a 54F. After losing 250 lbs, I was still a 36DDD, which is still a really large bra but mine was all loose skin and looked terrible. So about a month ago I had a breast reduction. Now I'm a 36B. A little smaller than I expected but all my back pain is gone and I can go braless if I want to.

I was a 40D four months ago. My bras are a tiny bit loose now, but I doubt I need a smaller size. I am down 70 pounds.

Sweety, your breasts will disolve like tic-tacs in the rain. This is my major complaint about loosing weight. I wouldn't mind if my stomach was shrinking as fast as my breasts, it wouldn't be a problem then. But I started out a 48DD and I am now a 42D. I am 5'2, 248lbs (started at 335). I am pleased with my waist, it is shrinking as well, but the stomach is taking it's own sweet time.

Yes, you will lose your breasts. It was one of the first big things I noticed. I went from a 56DD to a 52C in one week. All of a sudden, poof, and they were gone.

I started out at 321 lbs and a size 48F. I've lost about 85lbs and now wear a 42F. I think I'm the only one that didn't lose anything in the cup area and yes my back is killing me. Good Luck!

I went from 5'2" 333lbs and a 46I bra size to 165lbs and a 36DDD. I know that still seems big but compared to what they were they feel tiny. I'm still losing so I hope they get even smaller.
