Question:
Previous Redux or Phen/Fen Users

Anyone get a drug reinbursement recently from AHP Settlement fund? I came home to find a check for $390. This is paid out under the drug usage agreement for people who used it longer than 6 months. I was shocked as I figured I would never see anything. I figure it is all the compensation I will get for ending up with some permanent heart damage. Fortunatley for me it is very very minor and should not affect my life or heart health, but I will have to take antibiotics before dental work the rest of my life. Unfortaunately the damage isn't enough to classify for any payment on the heart damage. From all the stuff I got over the years I figured there would never be any money to pay any of the medication claims. A nice surprise. Now where can I go shopping!!!    — zoedogcbr (posted on September 19, 2003)

I took phen FEn for 3 months - lost 60 lbs, lol I went to Crumley and Associates to try and do the claim- but they gave me a big run around- saying I needed the prescriptions where I got the meds filled or something from the drug store- Of course- the drug stor I used closed down- so their was no record of me filling the drugs. All I had was medical files from the doc- It sucked - so I had no claim- and no check in my mail:( lol

Hi Chris- Congrats on both things, your settlement and your phenominal weight loss! The happy answer to your question of "where can I go shopping" is- ANYWHERE YOU WANT! No more Lane Bryant, Avenue, or Catherine's for you :o) Good Luck!

Hi Mea, Thanks for the nice compliment! I can shop just about anywhere now, as long as they have a women's section. Since I was close to a Kohl's department store after I finished the Walk From Obesity this morning, I did stop and leave quite a bit of that check behind. I am so happy though because I finally got to buy a Columbia winter jacket. I have always wanted one and the sizes never even came close. It was majorly on sale too. I even managed to cram myself into a 1X. They tend to run quite small. I figure by the time the snow flies it will fit perfect. These days if I can breathe in the clothes I buy they are too big. LOL I buy them extra tight so that they will last longer. They show a few too many bulges at first, but not for long!

Congratulations Chris on your fantastic weight loss so far. I received my prescription refund approximately 4 months ago in the amount of $365.00. I was very surprised. However, I doubt I will see the matrix payment my lawyers claim I am entitled too - but I am still hoping and praying because I was left with some heart problems too!!!

Hi Chris- Speaking of Kohl's....keep an eye out for their 70% off racks that go up every few weeks, according to the sales associate. That's 70% off the already reduced sale price. A few weeks ago, I bought a 1X cute summer top at Kohl's for $3.00!! I am hoping for surgery in January, am currently about a 4X but am hoping by the end of next summer to be able to wear that top. Happy shopping :o)

I know all about the clearance racks. Have gotten some wonderful buys. However, i have no idea what size I will be next summer so I would not even gamble anymore. If I have PS before then it could be a significantly smaller size than I can even imagine. They'll still have the stuff left over from this year next spring so I'm sure I can pick up some goodies then. Have fun shopping too!
