Question:
scared, about barium , scared about surpport. before and after, Scared other stuff to

I am very scared about he barium. I cant' have it... I am aleric to that stuff, and to most tape's can they do anything else? we have no support group around here at all.. Nothing! the only support I will have is this group online!... the tubes scar me.... and all the rest... but I still want to do this. this pre testing always kills me... ;(    — c C. I think that being scared shows how normal you are. I am 12 days postop and I still have many fears. This process is not easy..I am allergic to tape and when I went home I had a huge, raised welt anywhere tape had touched...I hated the entire ordeal and I begged to be sent home after 4 days....I had JP drains ( 2..like balls at the end of the tubes) and they hurt like hell to be removed!). The fact is that you will do it and survive and feel even stronger at the end. It is OK to be afraid...keep us all posted and we will be there for you! It is our duty as there are people who were here for us!

HELLO, I JUST WANTED TO RESPOND AND TELL YOU WE ARE ALL ON YOUR SIDE. I AM THRE MONTHS POST AND DOING GREAT. I HOPE THAT YOU ARE FULLY PREPARED FOR THIS SURGERY. THE PRETESTING IS THE EASY PART. THEY WILL USE SOMETHING ELSE IF THEY KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALLERGIC. YOU SOUND AS IF YOU HAVE LOTS OF DOUBTS. THIS SURGERY IS NOT EASY BUT I FEEL IT IS WORTH IT. MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT.
