Were both post ops. I am ON all the time, sadly my wife has no libido at all. Its very sad. Its rare but can occur. I know of another couple the same way.

Hi~ I'am 3 weeks post-op and my *DESIRE* seem to leave a week ago, I'am hoping it returns pretty quickly for the sake of my Husband, but as of right now *NONE*.

All I know, is there is a pill out there for women for decreased libido (sex drive). I can only imagine it getting better since if I lost some weight I could actually do it. I haven't had it in years but I plan on doing the nasty as soon as I lose 50 pounds! Drive or no drive. LOL.

8 months post-op and down 142 pounds. No sexual interest whatsoever. Ok mentally, it's there...but to actual DO it? Not! I think my hubby and I've been intimate less than 1/2 a dozen times in the 8 months since WLS. Prior to that at least once a week (married 15 years lol). I find sex uncomfortable. Too much contact with bones now. That may sound funny, but it's just not. Being the female on top makes it less painful, but still hasn't boosted my interest in partaking. My doc says this should improve as my weight-loss stabilizes and my hormones get more of a regular foothold. He did offer meds for the problem, but I'm content to wait it out for now :>)
