Question:
Is anyone on here within 2 years of 18?

I am not 18 years old.. but I know of a few teenagers in our St. Louis
support group that had the Mini Gastric Bypass in st. louis, Missouri..
they are 16 & 17.. as a matter of fact there are about 25 patients that
are under the age of 20. If you would like, I could give them your e-mail

hey, i'm 19 y/o and i had the surgery oct 18th, 12 days after my 19th
birthday. I'm 2mos post-op and i'm down about 70lbs. I was extremely
healthy before surgery, even carrying all my extra weight (my doctors joked
i was healthier then them) I decided to have the surgery so i didnt have
any future health problems, and so i could play sports again (i had tore my
knee playing lacrosse for my HS, and i'm sure with less weight, my knee
will fair better). I've had no complications as of yet.. i havent dumped
nor vomitted from eating too much or eating too fast. Within 2 weeks after
surgery i went back to work (I'm a manager at blockbuster) and i've felt
amazing since. My surgeon joked around that it seems like i didnt even have
the surgery (minus the drastic weight loss) I'm not saying everything will
go perfect for everyone, however i just wanted to let you know that things
did go extremely well for me and others near my age i know. If you want to

Hey..im 17 yrs old...I just got approved and my doctors office is talking
to the hospital to set everything up for the 4th or the 5th of jan. 06...Im
