Doctor and the surgery

If you have anemia before your surgery will the doctor still operate. How low does it have to go before the doctor won't do it.    — cuppaloopy (posted on October 20, 2009)

I'm anemic and my doc operated on me. I told them I do take my iron everyday pre-op and they told me what to do. Just be honest with your doctor. Everything should go well.
