Question:
Tricare denied revision, what can I do?
Has anyone had any luck getting Tricare Prime to reverse their denial ? I need help on what to put in my appeal letter. Any help will be appreciated. — MarjN (posted on November 14, 2007)

Hello, I did not have Tricare Prime, but I did get deniad 3 times. When I
did my appeal I went to my Doctor that I see once a week or at least once a
month. Primary Doctor and got 1 year of records stuff like vitals, chart
notes, meds that Ive taken for the last year. I also sent everything I did
with the surgen, chart notes,vitals,weight after doing this I got an YES 15
days letter. It gave them a years of my weight meds I have tryed. So maybe
if you get all ur records you may get a yes. Just don't give up. Take care

I didn't have that insurance, I had PEIA school insurance, I gave up on
them and flew to Mexico, here is the web site, check it out, they are
wonderful there , this is good for anyone have problems getting money, much
more expensive in the states than Mexico.. Good luck to all.

I got denied (but not with Tricare) and my doc took care of all my denials
and appeals. YOu should go to your doc for this (this was my pcp).

I have tricare and took 20 months to get approved. Your surgeons office
should find out why it got denied. Mine got denied because I had to have
more tests and procedures done. You have to stay on them weekly to get
this done. They will pay for it, but you have to jump through hoops and do
everything they tell you. Start with the surgeons office to find out why
it is denied.
