Looking for support group for Lap Band Near Peru IL?

hi, im kind of new too. Banded on 11-9-09.Im not sure about this band yet.My weight loss if slow. I have no support group & nobody to talk to that knows a thing about a lap band. Marilyn

Hello, I had a lapband on march 2009, I am still learning about what I can and can't eat. I will be happy to answer any questions you have and lead support. The best thing you can do is call around the local hospitals and find support groups in your area. Yes, the weight loss is slower but I believe we will make life changes that will stay with us if we do it slow.( remember Optifast!
