Question:
MY INSURANCE DON'T REQUIRE SUPERVISED DIET, BUT NEED TO FIND SURGEON THAT DOESN'T !

I AM ON MEDICARE & MEDICAID. MEDICARE DOES NOT REQUIRE THAT I HAVE HAD SUPERVISED DIET, ONLY THAT THE SURGERY IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY. THE SURGEONS AT OSU REQUIRE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ON A 3 MONTH SUPERVISED DIET. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SURGEONS IN OHIO THAT DO NOT REQUIRE PREVIOUS SUPERVISED DIETS ? Hi. I am still pre-op but my surgeon is Dr. Rashid. He does not require a supervised diet. You just have to fill out a questionaire about your diet history. His office is in Warren,Ohio. He is listed in the directory of Dr's. If you go to the top and go to Find a Doc, then search Ohio you will find him. If you have any other questions you can email me.

I don't know where you live in OH, (your profile wouldn't come up) but would your insurance let you travel just over the border to Greenville, PA? Dr Kolenich and Dr Arreola are wonderful and would do anyhting to help. Let me know if this is an option for you and I will pass you more info. Good Luck
