Question:
I don't have a Question, just some praise!

I just want to thank all the nice people that take the time to answer questions, give advice and make people feel better about a very hard and life chaging decision. I have been coming to this site since may 2008 and have had many questions answered just by you answering other peoples questions. I have learned so much. I am very excited to start my new life soon with my new tool. (2-12-2009)It's really does make me feel better to know that there are others in my same situation that i can call on when needed. Thank You and God bless Stacie:0)    — sse032568 (posted on February 1, 2009)

You are so very welcome! I didn't find this site until after I had my surgery. So, 11 more days and you're onto a whole new way of life! Good luck, and remember to get your fluids and protein.

Ya know what Stacie.....I too feel the same way. I felt very alone and even though I did my research I never found a site quite like this one. Just a few more days for you and you'll be one of the ***I did it*** gang! Good luck and May God Continue to Bless you always! Renee Jobin

Hi Stacie, I just wanted to say good luck on the 12th. I will say a prayer for you. I am 7 1/2 months out and love my new self. You will too! I too found this site about a year before my surgery. I just wanted to check things out and reading the stories made me want it all the more. Most of the feedback is very positive and I appreciate everyone to gives upbeat, but honest answers to questions asked. I try to give my opinion based on my experience. It has been good for me. The best advice I have ever gotten was to use the honeymoon period to change your thoughts on food and follow the rules! I still measure out my food, I still eat only what they say. I still wait 5 mins between bites and I never drink while and after eating...I want to be successful and I know others do too. I am 10 lbs from goal and feel great! Keeo us posted on your journey too! Best of luck to all!!! hugs, Kim
