WOW..I know several people that have had LapBand done..and none have had
this issue. Have you called the DR.? That is what they are there for..mine
has been wonderful with my calls. I wish you well.

Although your profile says "hoping to have surgery" I gather from
your question that you recently had your surgery. Is that so? Are you on
pain medication. Some people experience a reaction to their pain
medication that causes itching and/or rashes. The best thing you can do is
to call your doctor or surgeons office. They can diagnose. We can only
speculate.

During surgery they place inflatable "boots" on your legs that
can up to your thighs. These infate and deflate during surgery to keep your
blood circulation going so you won't develop a blood clot in your legs
during surgery.
Maybe you had a reaction to the latex or material of them? Hospitals call
them Sequential Compression Devices (SCD's). I don't know if you they use
thigh or knee-high SCD's on you...otherwise, maybe its'a reaction to
medicine as mentioned before.

Not sure if you are having a reaction to your medication or the material on
your circulation boots, but I used to get the rash/boils on my inner thighs
all the time before I had surgery (not after it). Maybe you got germs into
your skin from sitting on dirty hospital toilet after surgery? Mine were
more of boils then they were blisters. Took them forever to pop.

I had a nasty rash that my family physician said was probably from a
reaction to the drape/cover during surgery and then it got a yeast
infection in it. I'm using a cream for jock itch and athlete's foot, they
must be yeast infections too!
