Question:
Cost of revision-- Insurance and self-pay

It has been a while since I thought about having a revision to my lap RNY to lose more weight. I know that more insurances are paying for WLS. Do any pay for revisions when your only comorbidity is high blood pressure? I need to lose another 50 pounds or so. If not, has anyone self paid for a revision? What is the average cost? I am willing to pay, but only if the cost is reasonable. BTW, I am in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California.    — Mariee H. (posted on November 25, 2009)

There are a lot of revisions, going to DS,I know there is a Dr. Rabins,In CA. Go to the Ds board,I know Kerry Johnson,is one that had it done,in CA.
