Anyone self-pay VGB?

I am self-pay VBG. I see my surgeon tomorrow. My surgeon wants $5500. upfront and the hospital wants $10,000 10 days before surgery. I am determined to get the money. Try patientfinance.com or monarch. I think it is worth every penney. Good luck.

Self-paid for VBG in 1995 - cost was approx. $15,000. Ended up with a staple line disruption five years post op and had a revision to RNY last July. Insurance paid for the revision.
