DOES ANYONE KNOW A DOCTOR IN LOUISIANA THAT WOULD REFER YOU FOR WLS?

I went to my pcp and told him that this is what I wanted to do. He has known my history and he recommended my surgeon. I would suggest you go to your pcp and talk with him/her. Have all your ducks in a row. Know everything there is to know about the surgery. (advantages and disadvantages) There is so much info on this site to help you prepare. This is a life changing surgery and you must be ready for that and show your doc you are confident you want this. Good luck! 5 weeks post op down 26 pds.

I osed a terrific lady surgeon in Shreveport, La. Her name is Stephanie Barnes. phone 318-222-3132. Her husband, James, is also a surgeon who performs RNY. She does LAP.... He does Open. They work as a team.
