Question:
A constant twitching in my legs what could it be?

I am a year and 9 months post op. I have had a constant twitching in my legs and in my arms sometimes. Waiting on Dr. results. Has anyone had these symtoms before and what could it be?    — CARRIE C. (posted on June 16, 2005)

I think your blood tests should reveal any deficiency that you have. It may be Iron. Paula

Hi, It sounds like you are not getting enough water into your daily routine & probably very low on Potassium. That will cause leg cramps & the twitching you are talking about. Your Doc should be able to tell what is up with your levels. Hope this helps you our. Marilyn, the Bearlady

The twitching could be a symptom of magnesium deficiency which will not show up in your blood work. The twitching muscles and cramps in feet and legs are some of the first symptoms. I was having a big problem with foot and ankle cramps, started taking a magnesium supplement and no problems now. Carmen
