Software is SOOOOOO expensive...You can order software at Fit Day....I LOVE the Daily Plate...But I write my food in a note book and take the nutritional values from the package they come in...I dunno...Old School makes it easy to carry around when I can't get to my computer. Plus I can take it to the doc or Nut if i ever need to. http://www.thedailyplate.com/ http://www.calorie-count.com/ http://www.fitday.com/webfit/index.html

thedailyplate.com is a free counter and all you have to do is add in whatever and it will count it for you. If it goes in my mouth, it gets logged onto thedailyplate.com It keeps me honest too.

Rent it at www.myfood diary.com for $9.00 per month. I used it 30 days, and loved it, but I don't need it more than the first month. It has all the information you need on foods and it has stockpiles of every food you can think of, but you can build you own custom items if you want and then reuse them. When they call a portion 1/2 cup but you use 1/4 cup, just record that item as ".5" for a quanity. Best of success to you.

You are going to LOVE "sparks". I calculated EVERYTHING. Go to Sparks.com...not to mention it is all free. It will take you an hour or two to look around the site, but it is so easy to use and figures everything for you. Good luck. Kimberly

I really enjoy using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/. #1 - it's completely free. I am computer "dummy" and even I can keep an accurate food diary there! I like the way it also factors in the exercise you do by subtracting the calories you burn doing the exercise. So this one keeps count on claories, protein, carbs, etc. It also tracks calories usied with exercise. at the end of each day, it gives a summary of all that has happened to include water/fluid consumed, space for notes, and a clear separation of each meal. The site allows you to plug in you weight and your goals. It will calulate how long it will take to lose weght considering your calorie intake. Take a look-see. Oh, and you can add in your specific foods if you don't find it in their databank. good luck! looks like you have choices.

The best I have found is Spokespeople.com. It is FREE and easy to use, very supportive. It give you EVERYTHING, calories. fat, carbs, over all nutrition, goals and every fun stuff as well as friendly group to join for support.

www.sparkpeople.com they have a nutrition tracker on their home page where you can put everything you eat and drink during the day, and it automatically counts the calories, protein, fat, and carb you consume each day. i believe you may have to register for the site, but sparkpeople is the second best site i have ever been on (this one being the first)!!

I didn't purchase any software on FitDay.com. I joined(free) and can use the website and print my daily counts. Especially good for taking to MD appointments. Lee
