Question:
Wii Fit! So much Fun!!!!

I read on the RNY forum about the Wii Fit and how much fun it is. Well, after searching for it....I finally found one at Costco (everyone else seems to be sold out and not sure when they'll get them in). Anyway, this is the most fun I've had in a long time exercising. I did the "Hula Hoop" for about 5 mins (not continously..it kept falling). I was already sweatinig. I had to quit to get some work done....but I'd recommend this to anyone that has the Nintendo Wii system. It is so much fun and the weight scale is very accurate...even on carpet. I tried it and it is. GO ON OUT AND TREAT YOURSELF.....$79 at Costco    — hatda (posted on June 5, 2008)

Oh too cool! I've heard about it and wondered if anyone tried it yet! Thanks for sharing. I'm going to Costco later anyway...so I'll look for it...It sounds like fun. I just mowed the lawn and it's flipping hot out there...Whew! That sounds like much more fun.

My kids bought me Wii Fit for Mothers day. I love it. I really like the yoga and balance the best. I try to do at least 35 to 40 minutes everyday. it keeps me focused. I don't have to drive anywhere to o to the gym and I get a good workout. Bonus on both. I would also recomend it.

I too got the Wii Fit for mother's day. I'm 50 years old and never really got into video games but the Wii, with the Wii Fit video, is awesome! It tracks your weight, your BMI and if you don't use it daily, it will nag you! You can jog, ski jump, hula hoop, there are programs to help you balance and it explains why it is important that you maintain a good solid balance and not favor one leg over the other. There's weight training, yoga.... you'll never be bored! I cannot recommend it more. In my area, there is a huge Wii Fitness backlog; but my son had a connection... so I consider myself very lucky to have it. I can't recommend it enough either! It's well worth the price, considering what health clubs cost and you have the comfort of your own home. And... it's FUN!

MY question to everyone with WII Fit. IS there a max weight for using the balance board? I can't seem to find that information anywhere. Lynn

My daughter is an excercise physiologist. They use it in the cardiac rehab program that she works with. She's been twisting my arm, trying to convince me to get it, says it's great.
