Question:
Any ideas where to buy less expensive protein drinks in stores and online

I understand that you can get some pretty good deals at Costco. I haven't tried them yet, though. I get the ones at Trader Joe's and they are a little pricey. However, they're still cheaper than most of what I see online, especially when you factor in shipping.

I buy Body Fortress @ Walmart (powder form). Approx. $15/jug and I'd tell you how many servings per container but I can't find it marked anywhere. Quite a bit though when you use one scoop per serving as I do. I think I may use one container per month maybe. I only use it in my coffee. The rest of the day I get protein from food sources.

I get the Body Fortress Whey Protein from Walmart (about $15). It has 52 Gms per 2 scoops. I mix 2 scoops in about 10 ounces of water and shake really good for about 30 secs. I hold my nose and tip it up...once I start drinking I don't stop until it's gone! LOL* I HAVE to have the protein, and I can't eat more than 3 meatballs, or 3 chicken wing sections, or 5 shrimp so food wasn't enough protein for me. I had LB last Nov 4th, and down 100# so far. Good Luck.

I use gold standard 100% whey that I get at GNC... 1 Large jug is abour $40 but I bough the big one almost 3 months ago and still using the same jug. I was buying the smaller jugs but was only lasting about a month and $30 so for $10 more I got the big one and it is really worth it.

While I understand what Pamela posted above mine, I have to disagree somewhat. While manufacturers would like us to believe that higher price equals higher quality, this is not always true. There are many high quality products that are lower priced! As with everything, you have to research online and read labels to find the best product for you!

The Body Fortress has a 100% Whey Protein and the Cookies N Cream flavor is great! My nutritionist recommended it also. Good Luck

I agree with what has been said but I know that i was told to drink EAS shakes and they taste ggod and also have 17g of protien in them and are also low in carbs. I get 24 of them for 27.00 at sam's club and they also have them at walmart in packs of 4 that are not expensive to buy. I do not see anything wrong with wanting to save money but still get the things you need. Good luck and I hope thios helps.

a 24 pack of EAS drinks at sams is 26 and change. one drink is 11 ounces, 17 grams, and 110 calories. They taste pretty good too. Unjury is about 30 a month for 2 unflavored canisters which is about 1 months worth if you have 1 a day. Best of luck, hugs, kim
