Question:
Day of surgery

Did anyone have to get bloodwork done the day of surgery? Anyone from henryford hospital detroit?    — cuppaloopy (posted on October 23, 2009)

Some people do have to get bloodwork done, they actaully do it right in the pre op room. It probably depends on what issues you have, plus I think they always check the glucose level diabetic or not. I am not a diabetic and they gave me a huge dose of insulin due to the fact that surgery makes your levels wacked. Hope this helps.

I did not have to get blood work done on the day of surgery. I got my surgery done at Henery Ford. :)
