After surgery, did your shoe size get smaller?
Hello, I am pre-op. My date is 4.27.06. I cannot wait! I was wondering if your feet get smaller after surgery? I keep hoping that maybe this summer I will be able to wear some really cute sandals and shoes, but, not if my feet stay fat like they are. Did your shoe size get smaller? thank you! — Meghan R. Yes ma'am they do. Mine has went down 2 sizes.

My shoe size went down from an 8 wide to a 7.5 medium and I can sometimes
wear a 7. I'm also a shoe horse now that I have nice slim feet.

choose a pair because its the only one in that size.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. You will be on the "losing
side" before you know it. Yes, my shoes size went from a 10 Wide to an
8.5 medium. I used to have swollen feet and ankles all the time, but not
any more. My ring size went from an 8 to a 5.5. A few other things got
smaller too, lol. Best of luck to you!

Isn't it great? I went from an 8.5 and am now in 7 and some 6.5. My feets
were always wide, however. Congrats!

Good luck with your surgery, everything will be just fine. I just wanted
to comment on the shoe size. Although my foot has not gone down in sizes
it has definitely gotten smaller around. I still wear anywhere from a 10
to an 11. But I can fit into juniors shoes now and them not be tight.

Yes, I was a 14 before surgery and now I can wear a 12 to 12 1/2 after 15
months.

Mine havent. I keep waiting to fit back into my ballroom dance shoes but
no go. :-(

Mine definitely did! I went from an 11 to a 9 1/2 (I'm 5'10"). Had a
lot of fun - for the first time - buying cute shoes and sandals last
summer.

Great question! My feet definitely got smaller and I am having fun with
shoes! I went from a 10 Wide to a 9 or 9 1/2. I can wear heels again and
am so anxious for summer again to wear my fun sandals. Shoe shopping is my
favorite pastime again!

I went from a 10 wide to an 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the make. I LOVE it,
though I did have some cute shoes before that I can't wear anymore. :P --

My size changed from a 9 to 7 1/2 and they are so narrow now.

RNY June 2002, shoe size was 9.5 to 10, now is 8 to 8.5.

Your feet will get skinny too!! I went from a size 10 to a 9 in 4mos. I'm
trying not to spend too much $$ on shoes until I've gotten close to my goal
weight. Keeping up with clothes for work is my main problem

Hi Megan, I am post op 9/27/04 and my shoe size has gone down one size and
I also no longer have to get the wide width shoes. I am tickled that I can
look at cuter shoes and don't have to worry about my feet hanging outa the
sandles and stuff. So many changes are going to come your way. It will be
