Question:
Body feel like you have jelly in it.

I am about 6 months out and have lost about 80 pounds and my buttocks, thighs feels like I have jelly in them. When I exercised especially with jumping jacks my skin jumps around and make noises. It is like I am very loose. Has anybody dealt with this and if so what did you do to strength.    — eboneymichay (posted on April 16, 2010)

First, congratulations on your great success! That is wonderful weight loss! You are loosing, and have lost fat out of your cells. The cells themselves don't go away. They just become smaller as the fat disolves. There is a process your body goes through called "compacting". That is, your cells tighten down and you become smaller. That is what is going on with you. Your skin will tighten down as time goes on, keep exercising, it will help tone your body. After about a year, you may find that you prefer a tummy tuck or other plastic surgery to have the body you want, and maybe not. It is an option. Keep up the good work and congrats again!
