Question:
Does anyone know a PCP in the Huntington WV area that I could see who will give me a

referral without me having been a patient of his/hers? I don't have a PCP, but need a referral as well as a Dr. who is willing to help out with certain post op stuff. Please help.    — Nikki D. (posted on June 8, 2002)

Would you be willing to travel to Charleston? If so, I know a woman who is a Nurse Practitioner and she works at a doctor's office who is WLS-friendly. Maybe they would assist you. Best wishes on your journey.

I live in Milton and had surgery 4 1/2 weeks ago. Dr. Timothy Saxe is my physician and was very supportive and willing to do anything I needed, however, I have been established with him for years. Hope this helps, good luck!!
