Question:
I have seen a reference to

At the risk of being a "dummie", is this actually a book you can purchase or is there a site one goes to in order to learn "the rules"?    — Brenda A. (posted on July 15, 2002)

This is the pouch rules for dummies site I'm familiar with. As far as I know, there is no book. www.shelby.net/wizards/larger.htm

or you can just go to search and type "pouch rules for dummies" be aware that some of the info is (in my opinion) not correct ie...drinking with meals.... For books go to Amazon or Barnes and Noble and search for WLS or gastric by-pass, there are several books out there, but I think I've learned the most here. Good Luck

The pouch rules do not recommend drinking with your meals, in fact they recommend waiting until 1 1/2 hours after eating. They do say, however, that if you become UNDERWEIGHT to reverse the rules to put weight back on, with an example of drinking with your meals. The 'rules' saved me, things do change after 6 months post op!
