Question:
I am wondering what the code numbers on my approval letter are?

If anyone knows how I would tell, please let me know. I have BCBS of TX and the letter states that the procedures 43846 & 43659 are approved. I wrote thsi question yesterday, but I do not see it anywhere. Thanks and take care everyone. Lisa    — Red T. (posted on September 29, 2002)

My surgery is scheduled for October 8th and I am approved as well for 43846. I believe that is a "universal" insurance code for the laporascopic gastric bypass. Good luck to you.
