Can Anyone help me??

Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me where I can find recipes or meal plans for those who had the distal RNY ??? I NEED HELP BAD!!!! I have a list of suggested foods... and ones I cant eat.. but to put them all together in a meal.. ummmm welp.. im not that good.. and Im new at all this meal planning..... I am a distal RNY actually I just try to eat the proteins first and now I gravitate towards the veggies.. since I am a distal I do have problems with stinky BM's and gas.. a word of caution use PhazeX when going out and peptol Bismol that will stop the smelly Bm's and gas for a day or so also stay away from gasy foods Carbs cause me gas and High Fat content foods being a distal the food passes through our bodies quicker and undigested food stinks i ate tomatoes at 7:30 one night and passed them by midnight.. what you once thought you wanted you will not crave you will start craving the strangest foods I love zesty dill pickel spears and deli roast beef or ham or turkey with chesse and a squirt of mustard or ranch dressing no bread rolled up.. and those tiny tiny tomatoes all my life I hated tomatoes they made me gag now I love them that is so strange do not stress over the food and dont waste your time putting to gether any big meal paln drink your proteins have your blood work done frequently take you supplements Walk a min 2 miles per day 3-4 to lose the best good luck

hiya! i am putting up a url that will take you to a wls support group website files listing...i put up 3 seperate recipe files and one for the upcoming holidays. check them out... also, i use www.allrecipes.com and www.recipezaar.com quite a bit to find recipes. i use Jarrow's Iso Rich Soy Protein Powder (the only kind you can cook with), it has 25g protein, 110 calories, 0 fat, 0 sugar, 0 carbs for 2 tbls and i add it to almost everything!!! it rocks!! you can get it online from www.vitamintrader.com. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Life_Savors/files/ that is the url...we have lots of great info besides the recipes. good luck, kate open rny 6-14-01 pre op: 268lbs goal: 135lbs current: 126lbs
