Question:
DAVINCI SYRUPS

Hi, I want to buy some sugar free syrups and was wondering what your favorite flavors were and what ones I shouldn't waste my money on. I'm leaning towards the Kahlua, chocolate, peppermint paddy, pineapple, coconut and orange.THANKS, Kelly*    — Kelly* P. (posted on March 7, 2004)

I have several of the syrups.....I use them in iced de-caf coffees. I lover peppermint paddy (really good in s/f hot cocoa) I also have raspberry, strawberry, macadamia nut, carmel, and cherry. I truely like them.

I just want to mention that I found some of the Davinci Sugar Free syrups over at Marshall's and TJMaxx stores. They were only 5.99 for the big bottle. They also have some of them at Super Wal-Mart. Tracy

I would also like to plug the Torino Sugar Free syrups. I like them better than DaVinci. They have both DaVinci and Torino sugar free syrups at United Grocers - Cash and Carry (which you might have some variant of that near you) and they have the Torino sugar free at Smart and Final. They are cheapest at those places $3.69 - $3.99 per bottle. I like the fuit ones, but everyone's idea of hazelnut, mint, or whatever with chocolate sounds great! Haven't tried that yet....

I really like to make a sugar free hot chocolate and add caramel syrup by divinci to it. It is really good. I also take my chocolate protein shake and add the caramel to it. 292/192/165

My favorites are English Toffee and Dulce de Leche (strong caramel). I joke about my Italian dinner: Cocoa Mochacchino shake with Dulce de Leche syrup. Nina in Maine

HI, Kelly. I used to love to get a latte with Irish Cream flavoring, but I do not like the sugar free Irish cream. I do like the sugar free vanilla.

I've tried DaVinci peach, raspberry, coconut and caramel. If you ask me, the caramel is good with almost anything. The peach and raspberries are both a little thin and cheap tasting, but good when mixed with a stronger flavor, as in iced tea. I really looked forward to the coconut, but it was terrible, in my opinion. Tasted good initially, but had a windexy aftertaste or something along those lines. Have had more luck with Torini flavors. Also, found a few sugar free flavor syrups at GNC that were quite good. As long as you're shopping, you may want to check on Ebay for these syrups, where you can get them for just about wholesale, 5 something a bottle! Good luck!:)

The only syrup I like is by SpringTree from the syrup capital of the world - Vermont, because it has no saccharin or after tastes and has a nice maple no too thick consistency - my family does not even know it is sugar-free, has 12 carbs per 1/4 cup and 11 g sugar alcohol - making it 1 net carb per 1/4 cup.
