Looking for a doctor in upstate NY that takes medicaid, and will do a vbg to rny

Jett, I live in Georgia, but it's probably the same here as it is there. Nobody in the medical profession will recommend those who accept medicaid for some reason. What I did was to make a list of all the doctors who perform WLS within driving distance of my home. I got the list from this website. Some of the docs will post whether or not they accept medicaid or not. The ones that didn't I called. If they accepted it I put myself on their waiting list right away. I was finally to the very last doctor I had listed when I found the one I liked. There were only about 6 in my area. You can also email them if you want to save telephone charges. But I didn't have any luck with them responding. Good luck.
