This may sound strange, I don't know of any scale , but I used to drive truck with my ex-husband and we got our rig weighed at truck stops. You could possibly weigh the car with you and a driver in it , then drive off , get out and weigh it again , the difference would be your weight. It isn't exactly accurate , but it's worth a shot. I have also heard of meat packing places that weigh whole sides of beef with large scales. I know it's not easy waiting to see how you've done. Patience is a virtue ( and I have none) good luck!

I would try a large post office (as opposed to a small neighborhood satellite office). My aunt, who is MO, has been going to her local post office and weighing for years.

You might try an aluminum recycling place. I know they have scales that go that high. some of the hospitals where this type of surgery are performed also carry larger scales. Good Luck

Most hospitals have scales in the laundry (of all places) that go over 500#. They are usually very happy to help out. Also most postal services have scales that will weigh larger amounts. I know these alternatives aren't always easy to muster up the courage to use but very soon you will be able to go to your local Wal-Mart and purchase a "normal size" scale.

Hi, BJ's Wholesale Club in the Oakwood Plaza has a scale for people that weighs, measures your height and gives your BMI for .50 cents. I would call first to make sure it is not out of order

WWW.amplestuff.com has a catalogue with two scales from Siltec--one weighs up to 500 lbs and one weighs up to 1000lbs. Both are reasonably priced. Good luck!
