Question:
Does anyone know if there is a WLS support group on Long Island?

I am interested in joining a support group on Long Island in the Nassau County area. Does anyone know of one? If not, is anyone interested in starting a group with me? I had my surgery on August 7, 2001 and would enjoy meeting with other post-ops and/or pre-ops.    — Lynne R. (posted on October 25, 2001)

Hi, Lynne....We meet again. I belong to the support group at Sounth Nassau Hospital where I will be having my surgery. They are quite fussy about admitting people who have not had their surgery with them. I would definitely love to get our own support group together. The more the merrier. Let's see what kind of response you get. You can count me in.
