Question:
CAN ANYONE HELP MY NERVES....L.....
I am on a waiting list to have surgery this month and i am so nevious.I keep on thinking something will fall apart and i will not be able to have this surgery.....Its like I cant even believe after all this time I might actully get this done.Alot has to do with my job and insurance,I need to quit this job but i quit then i have no insurance....but i cant stay here no longer with the problems i am having there.another is what if something comes up on my pre addmission testing that would postpone it.some one please help me before i loose my mind...... — nicole K. I felt just like you did when I had my wls in February, and I feel the same
way again, I am having a abdominoplasty/mammoplasty next monday the 2nd.
and I keep thinking they are going to call and cancel it,I know in the back
of my mind that they won't, but I still keep worrying!! don't worry just
have faith, it will happen, try to keep busy,, it helps!! as for the job ,
just hang in there a little longer!!

Even if you do quit your job,by law you are elegible for COBRA. Which is
your same insurance but you have to pay the monthy fee. It is expensive
but not as expensive as self-paying.

the only thing that helped me post op was getting my house in order and my
ducks in a row. My house was spit spot before surgery laundry completely
done and all bills ready and waiting for paychecks to come in. I
completely busied myself not to mention last suppering my self to death :
)
