Anyone have Bi-Polar disorder and take Lithium after WLS

I am Bipolar and take Lithium. Have been for about 5 years. I had my surgery on 2/14/03. Haven't had any problems with my meds. I take the Lithium, Wellutrin, and Geodon. Any other questions, give me an email. Glad to help.

Concerning Lithium after WLS---though Depakote and/or tegretol is a better choice because of the toxicity issues with lithium----lithium should be perfectly safe to take after surgery----be sure though, to discuss with your psychiatrist and/or family doctor.
