Question:
I am on methadone and i am having an epidural for lower back pain

My question is if your on methadone and having an epidural for lower back pain, will the sedative they give you before the epidural harm me.? Is there anything wrong with having the sedative since i'm on the methadone. I'm on a 100 millagrams of methadone daily. I would appriciate any replies thank you audra    — audra M. ASK THE DOCTOR/SURGEON/ANESTHESIOLOGIST who is doing the procedure, not us! You MUST be honest with your doctors about any and all medications you are taking -- they know best, not the lay people here!

I AGREE!! To address ANY medicine interactions, your doctor/pharmacist/anesthiologist is the BEST source, not the people on here. We may have a lot of answers, but don't take any advice on this subject except your doctor/pharmacist/anesthiologist!!! Carmen
