Question:
My surgeon wants me to wait a month before I have my surgery

He wants me to make sure that this is what I REALLY want to do.I have been researching this for the past year and I know this is what I want...Has anyone eles surgeon wanted them to do this?.....you can email me([email protected]) or answer here.    — Renee B. (posted on June 11, 2001)

Renee, When I went in for my consult, my surgeon wouldn't let me say "okay, let's do it" either. He told me I should go home and discuss/explain everything to my family first, and then make a decision. I was a little disappointed, because I had researched for so long, and I knew this is what I wanted to do. I told him that as well, and he told me after I discussed it with my hubby and family to call back and his office would get the ball rolling with the insurance company. I am sure you surgeon just wants to make sure this is absulutely with out a doubt, what you want to do. I think it is good to think about it for a couple of weeks or so, it is such a BIG decision to make. I wish you all the best of luck!
